These terms cover your use of Hearthscholar. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Hearthscholar generates suggested lesson plans, worksheets and progress records to help parents plan home education. You remain the teacher and are responsible for what your children are taught and for meeting your state's homeschool requirements. Hearthscholar is not an accredited school and does not issue diplomas or transcripts.
AI-generated content
Lessons and worksheets are drafted by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes. Review materials before teaching, especially answer keys, science activities and anything involving safety.
Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
Trials, subscriptions and cancellation
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial without a payment card. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel from Billing at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refunded except where required by law.
Acceptable use
Use Hearthscholar for your family's or co-op's education. Don't resell access, scrape the service, or try to break its security.
Changes and liability
We may update the service and these terms; we'll notify account holders of material changes. The service is provided "as is," and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim.
