The Hearthscholar Method
A curriculum written for one student at a time.
Hearthscholar drafts each child's week of lessons around their level, pace and interests, prints the worksheets with answer keys, and records every lesson against the standards it teaches. You keep the final say on every lesson.
The method
From a child's profile to a finished week in three steps
Planning is the part of homeschooling that burns parents out. Hearthscholar does the drafting; you do the teaching.
- i.
Profile each learner
Set a level for each subject, the days and minutes you teach, and what your child loves. Reading 6th-grade books while doing 4th-grade math is normal here.
- ii.
Receive the week's plan
One click writes a full week: daily lessons with step-by-step teaching notes, materials, an exit question and a 3D model where it helps.
- iii.
Teach, mark, and record
Print the worksheet and key, mark the lesson done with a score, and Hearthscholar updates mastery, attendance and hours for your records.

Questions
What families ask before enrolling
Can I change the lessons?
Yes. Regenerate a subject's week, skip a lesson, or teach it your own way. Hearthscholar records what you actually taught and how it went.
Does it meet my state's requirements?
Lessons are tagged to Common Core, NGSS and the C3 social studies framework, and the records page logs days, hours and subjects for each child. Requirements differ by state, so check your state's homeschool law for what you must submit.
What if my child is ahead in one subject?
Set a level for each subject separately. A child can do 6th-grade reading and 4th-grade math in the same week.
How are worksheets made?
Each lesson can generate a printable worksheet of ten practice items that match its objective, with an answer key on a separate page.
Who can see my children's information?
Only you. Parents create the account and enter each learner's first name and grade; children don't need email addresses. We never sell family data. See the privacy policy.
How do I cancel?
From Billing in your members' study, at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
